Alpha Sushi


Alpha sushi is a Japanese restaurant located at shop 6/27 Phillip street, Parramatta, Sydney. It's very conveniently located and the staff were extremely welcoming and positive. The prices seemed fairly average, and from what i ordered, the salmon and prawn special roll, it was definitely worth it the price. The food was beautifully presented and tasted really fresh and good.


The restaurant was small and cosy on the inside and had some seating outside, which was where we ended up sitting. The service was quick, so if you're craving some local and quick Japanese I would recommend going here; as I will definitely be going back.

Belly Bao

Belly Bao is a small food joint located on 184 King Street in Newtown. From my experience the atmosphere was very warm and cosy, with the theme of Asian Street Food. They're most famous for they "baos" which are steamed buns stuffed with various fillings. I had previously gone to the restaurant a few times when it was located at the Hudson Ballroom on Liverpool street before it moved to its new location, and the baos I tried were the crackling roast pork belly bao and the slow braised pork belly bao, which I strongly recommend if you ever decide to go there.
