DIY Nandos

Why Travel to Nandos, when you can create your very own Nandos experience at home?

Peri Peri Grilled Chicken 




Ingredients
  • Chicken 1 kg with skin 4 pieces
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Black peper 3/4 tsp
  • Garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Wooster sauce 2 tbsp
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Lemon juice 1/4 cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Paprica 1 tbsp
  • Peri peri sauce 3 tbsp
  • Meat tendrzer 1 tsp
Method 
  1. Prick chicken pieces well
  2. Marinate chicken with all ingredients for 2 hours
  3. Grill chicken pieces in preheated oven for 20 minutes
  4. Remove and place in a frying pan. With this, marinade and pan fry for 10 minutes until golden 
  5. Place on a serving platter with peri peri fries.


Spicy Peri Peri Rice


Ingredients
  • Rice 250 gm boiled
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Peri peri sauce 2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Onions 2 tbsp
  • Tomatoes 1/2 into small cubes
  • Capsicum 1 cut into tiny cubes
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Salt and white pepper 1/2 tsp each
Method
  1. Heat oil 
  2. Fry chop onions with ginger garlic paste
  3. Add boiled rice with all the seasonings and sauce 
  4. Lastly fold with capsicum and tomatoes
  5. Mix well, cover and leave it on slow heat for 10 minutes 
  6. Serve with grilled chicken
