Ukrainian scuffles

Ukrainian scuffles recipe 

A recipe for Fluffy, doughy goodness that's here to serve as your sugar fix. 

Ingredients:

-1 sachet of yeast 
-1/4 cup of water 
-3 cups of flour
-1/2 a ts of salt
-3 ts of sugar
-two eggs (beaten)
-half a cup of milk 
-cinnamon 
-more sugar 

Method:

  1. get a small bowl and add the yeast to the warm water and just let it sit for 10mins *don’t stir it or anything and while you wait get a large bowl*
  2. mix together the 3 cups of flour, the 3tp of sugar and the half a ts of salt.   
  3. Then you need a cup of butter and just using a fork you squish the butter and the flour,sugar and salt mixture together (its Like making pie crust). 
  4. After that’s finished add the yeast mixture, two beaten eggs and half a cup of milk to the flour, sugar, salt and butter mixture. 
  5. Now you mix it all together using your hands and kneed it like pizza dough. 
  6. To set it out it in the fridge overnight. 
  7. After its all set, take the mixture out of the fridge and seperate it into six balls of dough. 
  8. Leave one ball of dough out and put the rest in the fridge. 
  9. Scatter your kitchen bench with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. 
  10. With the dough you left to the side flatten it into a circle shape and you have to cut it into four wedges *but it still has the be connected. *
  11. Now you turn it over in the cinnamon and sugar mixture and then you fold the wedges any way you like creating a bun
  12. Sprinkle more of the cinnamon and sugar onto the bun. 
  13. Now just repeat with the other buns. 
  14. Set the oven to 250 degrees and let it warm up for abit and then put the buns in. 
  15. They take around 10mins-15 to cook but you can just take them out when they're golden.
  16. Sprinkle with more sugar and enjoy!!
